From the organizers: In light of the real fear and uncertainty our immigrants have been facing during these past few months, AMOS and St Cecilia Parish have decided to host a dinner and safety workshop for our Hispanic immigrants in the Ames/Story County area on Sunday, April 2nd at 6pm in the St Cecilia Social Hall. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service

The Volunteer Center of Story County is again coordinating service projects in honor of Dr. King’s Legacy of community engagement.  During the day on Monday, January 15, several community organizations have a variety of projects for volunteers to participate in.  This Day of Service, is supported in part by a Community Grant from the Ames Convention and Visitors Bureau.
